Robbie Roberts stands out for his dedication to fairness and transparency. His commitment to no new taxes ensures that the citizens of Pinson will be able to keep more of their hard earned dollars to spend as they see fit.

2025 marks 30 years of public service for Robbie began serving, while also working in private industry. He started in 1995 as a member of the Palmerdale Fire District Board of Trustees where he was a member for nearly 17 years, with 12 of those years as the board President. Robbie also served as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Pinson as well as the Library Board Chairman for the Pinson Public Library. He has also served as a member of the Pinson City Council for 12 years and most recently has been the Mayor of Pinson since October of 2024 after the passing of former Mayor Joe Cochran.

After graduating from Pinson Valley High School Robbie went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from UAB. He then took over his family's business where he was a control systems designer and manufactured control panels. He was involved in projects throughout Alabama, the U.S., and around the world. The projects included work at the Pentagon and U.S Embassies in many countries.

In 2015, Robbie took on a new challenge when he became the Senior Site Director for Grace School of Theology's Alabama teaching site in Trussville. Additionally he returned to the classroom where he earned a Master's Degree in Ministry as well as a Master's Certificate in Chaplaincy.

In the short time that Robbie has been Mayor he has seen that growth through high taxes is not the key to growth in Pinson. As part of the Birmingham Metro Area, Pinson has access to far more opportunities than if we were to be located in a more rural area of the state. Regional cooperation is essential for Pinson and Robbie believes that building relationships with other area mayors, county commissioners, and state leaders is critical. Reginal cooperation can be found by working together  on road projects, industrial development, and infrastructure construction.

Robbie also believes in an efficient local government that strives to serve the community while also making sure that taxes that are already in place are being paid by those who do business in Pinson.
